BACK to basics! Shopping for my kids back to school stuff got me in the mood for getting back to the basics after a HOT but fun summer!  We all know (by now)that you MUST make Fruits and veggies apart of your daily healthy lifestyle… Every since I was little I have loved fruits and vegetables (not all vegetables mind you- slimy ones creeped me out). So that part of Loser wasn’t a huge shocker to me. What did and still perplexes me is how to get as many vegetables as I can in my body to get the nutrients I need. Enter juicing. My awesome Pilates trainer Erica Ziel introduced me to Ritual- an amazing company ran by 2 amazing women who were passionate about health. I was intrigued, and scared but after researching, talking with others who did it and talking with one of the owners I decided to drink up :)

In short, it made me feel awesome!!!! I can honestly say that after that first day I was a believer. So this week I did a one day RESET just to get me back focused, had the best night sleep and the next day got a promotion at work!!! Okay so juicing may not get you a promotion …. this is my mantra for 2012 and beyond. Because I am a work in progress, a work that will only be complete when my time on earth is done. We never stop learning, growing, changing and if the last 33 years have any indication of what the next 33 hold I am excited for the ride.  Patience- when it comes to my life journey I may as well be a senior citizen in the slow lane of the scenic route but I don’t care I get to take in the view!
